Shunt trip coil is flexible type. Trip coil is an optional accessory that mechanically opens circuit breakers remotely when the terminals are energized. This energy is not supplied from within the circuit breaker itself, it must be supplied from a different source. Some trip coils come internally above the circuit breaker.
