Entes RGP-9S Reactive Power Control Relay M3987 Reactive power control relay is an electronic device that performs the task of switching capacitors on and off in order to reach the automatically adjusted power factor. It consists of display, comparison unit and output relay circuit stages. Inductive loads such as transformers and electric motors bring reactive loads to the grid due to magnetizing currents. These reactive loads are reduced or eliminated by connecting capacitors to the circuit they are in. Reactive power control relays try to bring the power coefficient value to the power coefficient set by the user by activating or removing the batteries of the selected capacitor groups in central compensation.
